Demobats are flying predatory creatures that originate from the Upside Down. They resemble eyeless bats with a mouth that opens with many teeth, like the Demogorgons. They have a vine-like tail which can be used to strangle their prey. They also have black blood, like their humanoid counterparts. Demobats are connected to the hive of the Upside Down and act as Vecna's scouts throughout the dimension. They are the ideal scouts, as they are small and can easily go unnoticed when still- additionally, Demobats can fly, unlike any other member of the hive mind.
