A few words about the Pikachu
Pikachu is a fictional creature that belongs to the species of Pokémon, and that appears in numerous media: in video games, in the anime series, in animated films, in cards and in comic books, under license from The Pokémon Company, a Japanese company. The design of the fictional creature was started by Atsuko Nishida and finished by Ken Sugimori. The character's first appearance was in the Japanese releases of the Game Boy cartridges, Pokémon Red and Green, and later, in their worldwide release, Pokémon Red and Blue.
Like all Pokémon species, Pikachu is caught by people to battle other Pokémon for entertainment. Nevertheless, this franchise creature is perhaps the most popular, since it is also one of the central heroes of the Pokémon series.
