Luke Skywalker is a fictional character from the Star Wars saga. He was born on Polis Massa, is the son of Anakin Skywalker and Padmé Amidala and the twin brother of Princess Leia Organa. He was initially raised modestly by his uncle on Tatooine, but became a Jedi Knight and a hero of the Rebel Alliance during the fight against the Galactic Empire.
