FlipToons: Season 2 is a fast and fun deck-building card game from Thunderworks Games, where you take on the role of a talent agent searching for the next big stars of an animated show. In the FlipToons Season 2 board game, you will audition a brand new team of eccentric cartoon characters, create your cast, and try to gather as much Fame as possible.
Each player starts with their own deck of aspiring Toon actors. In each round, you shuffle your entire deck and reveal cards to create a 3×2 grid. The position of each Toon matters, as different abilities can interact with each other, creating powerful combos – or characters that simply do not cooperate!
After each Flip, you calculate the Fame produced by your cast. You can use it to hire better characters from the market or to remove weak cards from your deck. Thus, you gradually improve your deck and create increasingly effective combinations.
FlipToons: Season 2 introduces a completely new cast, including aquatic and sports-themed characters, as well as the new Return mechanic, adding new strategic options to the system.
The first player to create 30+ Fame in a Flip triggers the end of the game, and the coveted Final Flip will determine the final winner.
Most importantly, FlipToons Season 2 is fully standalone for 1–4 players, but it can also be combined with the original FlipToons, increasing the player count up to 8 and adding even more variety.
