Dwellings of Eldervale: Shapeshifter Mercenary Mini Expansion

Add a powerful and highly flexible ally to your adventures with Dwellings of Eldervale: Shapeshifter Mercenary Expansion, a small expansion for the popular fantasy strategy board game Dwellings of Eldervale.

The Shapeshifter is an optional Mercenary that can be added to a game and fight alongside whoever is willing to pay the appropriate price. Unlike the Monsters of Eldervale, Mercenaries function as Units that can be hired during the game.

As a Free Action, the player can hire the Shapeshifter Mercenary using Gold or Orb. If paid with Gold, it remains under the player's control until the end of the next Regroup. If Orb is used, the Shapeshifter stays with them for the rest of the game.

Its unique feature is the Mimic ability. Thanks to this, the Shapeshifter can use the ability of another Unit of the player, except for Build, creating new strategic combinations and more options during the game.

The Shapeshifter Mini Expansion includes an impressive Shapeshifter miniature 50mm, the corresponding standee and the Mercenary game card.

The character was initially included secretly in the copies of the First/Kickstarter Edition. From the Second Edition, it is available as a separate expansion, making an interesting addition for those who want to enrich their collection and strategic options in the Dwellings of Eldervale board game.
