In this unique quantum card game, players are asked to declare how many tricks they will win without knowing the colors of their cards – because they don't exist until they define them during the showdown! Cat in the Box draws inspiration from Schrödinger's theory and makes you handle uncertainty like a mathematician… or like a cat.
During the game, each move leads to placing tokens on a shared research board. If you try to declare a value already occupied for a number and color, you cause a quantum paradox and this results in your trick being canceled! The rules are easy to learn but hard to apply strategically, making the game thoroughly enjoyable for groups and families.
The Deluxe edition includes upgraded components such as custom plastic tokens (geekbits style), recesses in player boards and the central board, as well as a score pad with an ergonomic insert. Ideal for 2 to 5 players and with a duration of 30-45 minutes, it offers great replayability.
