In Architectura, the kingdom's most famous architects build a splendid city, filled with parks, theaters, taverns and many other buildings. Each architect wants to become the most prominent figure in the city, and everyone's ambition leads to intense competition … In this game you will create a grid of neighborhoods and roads. Each new building will have an effect on the value of neighboring buildings, or may even destroy buildings.
On their turn, players place cards into a grid made up of neighborhoods and roads. Each card has its own value (the numbers on the edge of the cards) which can be changed by rotating the card. The modified value now on the top side shows the card's new value. Some cards have such effects that they allow you to manipulate your cards as well as your opponents' cards: change the value, destroy, move, swap, etc. At the end of the game, players count the current values of their cards. The player with the most victory points (VP) is crowned the city's best architect!
