The Agemonia board game is a fully cooperative fantasy tabletop game for 1 to 4 players, combining exploration, moral choices and intense narrative in a campaign with over 100 hours of gameplay. Created by Max Wikström and published by Lautapelit.fi in 2024.
The game takes place in an enchanting world beset by catastrophic phenomena and ancient threats. Players assume the roles of heroes with unique backstories and abilities, exploring scenarios that include battles, trials and moral dilemmas. The use of dice and the management of endurance through special tokens add depth to the strategy.
The campaign consists of 38 scenarios, alternating between city, travel and mission phases. The system “Fail Forward” ensures continuous progress, even after failures. The companion app offers narratives and soundscapes, enhancing the experience.
