Cooper Island is a deeply strategic, complex eurogame for 2–4 players, designed by Andreas “Ode.” Odendahl and published by Capstone Games. It places the players in an exciting race of exploration, development and colonization, on a pristine archipelago in the Atlantic Ocean.
Each player starts with their own peninsula, two ships and a few workers. Their objective is to expand their land, help it thrive, build buildings, erect landmark statues and use the available resources and workers wisely to maximize victory points.
With tile placement, resource management and special action mechanisms, Cooper Island requires strategic thinking and proper planning. A unique element of the game is that the ships also serve as point markers, which travel around the island, offering bonuses and interaction with opponents' islands.
Ideal for demanding gamers seeking games with depth, variety and replayability, Cooper Island stands out for its quality production, well-designed map and challenging strategic choices.
