The Trailblazers: Pocket Edition is a strategy, set collection and adventure board game, designed by Ryan Courtney, ideal for 1 to 4 players. In this fast and entertaining card game, players try to create circular hiking, cycling and kayaking routes from their campsites. The goal is to score the most points by creating complete, closed loops, while simultaneously fulfilling “First To” and “End Game” objectives.
Each player is dealt 8 cards, chooses 2, places the cards in their own play area and passes the remainder to the next. Cards can be placed beside or on top of others, creating complex but functional routes. However, only fully closed loops that start and end at the corresponding campsite score points.
The Pocket Edition is the ideal choice for travel or play on the go. It comes in a small tuck box, without expansions, and includes 2 solo modes. It is ideal for beginners and fans of puzzle-style games themed around outdoor excursions.
