Harrow County: The Game of Gothic Conflict

A witch named Ester was hanged, burned, and buried beneath a tree. Some time later, Ester's family comes to Harrow County to destroy her, but in their way stands eighteen-year-old Emmy who mysteriously has her own powers.

In the asymmetric battle game Harrow County: The Game of Gothic Conflict, players can play as one of the Protectors, trying to save the town's inhabitants, or as a member of the Family, trying to destroy Harrow County. Alternatively, you can play as a third faction that stems from the sudden return of Emmy's twin sister, Kammi, who wants to rule Harrow County. Players activate mason jars to move their haints (undead creatures) on the hex-based board as they attempt to complete their missions. Combat is resolved using a unique dice tower that is integrated into the physical box.

Finally, a third player can enter the game: Hester, the dead witch who is buried beneath the tree. She controls the roots of the tree and, using the tower with the cubes, Hester can infect the haints in her roots, which causes a snake to be placed on her ear. That player can still control that haunt, but now Hester can do it too. If Hester returns to life, then she must eat the other legends to regain all her power in order to win.

In short, Harrow County is a thematic, tactical area-control and enemy-extermination game to determine the fate of Harrow County.
