Pop! Figure Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba Kanao Tsuyuri
Kanao Tsuyuri is an important supporting character in the 2016-2020 fantasy horror manga series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and in the 2019 anime television adaptation of the series.
Despite her young age, Kanao is a high-ranking member of the Demon Slayer Corps, originally serving as Tsuguko (successor) to her adoptive elder sister Shinobu Kocho. She uses the Flower Breathing sword style, a skill passed to her by her adoptive sister Kanae Kocho.
For most of her life Kanao could not think independently because of her harsh upbringing. Kanao's emotional state began to change when she met Tanjiro Kamado, a fellow Demon Slayer, who convinced her to live her life according to her heart.
Her arch-enemy was Doma, a powerful demon and a member of the Twelve Kizuki who held the position of Upper Second. Doma was the demon responsible for the deaths of both of her adoptive sisters, Kanae and later Shinobu. She eventually managed to destroy her nemesis with the help of Inosuke Hashibira during Muzan Kibutsuji's raid on the Dimensional Infinity Fortress.
After Muzan Kibutsuji was killed, the Demon Slayer Corps was disbanded and the remaining Demon Slayers lived peaceful lives. Kanao specifically settled with Tanjiro and had children with him (initially implied, later confirmed by the Demon Slayer author in the tankoubon section afterward). Her legacy continued into the modern era from taa two great-granda tachildren, Kanata Kamado (who bears a striking resemblance to Kanao and is just as sharp as she is) and Sumihiko Kamado.
