Escape from Devil’s Island
Survive is a tough game where players try to remove their pawns from an island that is collapsing, while remembering where their highest-value pawns are to maximize their score.
An island made up of 40 hexes is slowly sinking into the ocean (as tiles are removed from the board). Each player controls ten people (with values from 1 to 6), who try to move to the safety of the surrounding islands before the main island finally explodes. Players can either swim or use boats to travel, but must avoid sea snakes, whales and sharks on their way to safety.
Survive is very similar to Escape from Atlantis with some key differences.
Survive was re-released as «Survive: Escape from Atlantis!» by publisher Stronghold Games and was released on store shelves in February 2011. The reissue contains the game Survive, as well as all the additional pieces needed to play the game as «Escape from Atlantis» and in fact you can find it here: Survive: Escape from Atlantis!», because it included the dolphins and diving dice, which were removed from the anniversary edition that was released a few years later (although they were later made available on their own for owners of that edition).
