Pop! Figure Star Wars Battlefront Imperial Rocket Trooper Bobble Head (Excl.)
In DICE's Star Wars Battlefront, the Imperial Jump Troopers are encountered in Survival and Battles. They are armed with an RT-97C Heavy Blaster and equipped with a personal shield and a modified Jump Pack that allows them to hover in the air at one spot for an unlimited time. They cannot use their personal shield and the jump pack simultaneously. In Survival, they appear more frequently in later waves. In Battles, the imperial soldiers can appear as enemies or as friendly units, depending on the faction the player sides with.
The Jump Troopers are fragile and their behavior is predictable. Imperial troops have low health and rely on their personal shield for protection. They activate their personal shield when attacked from any distance, but they attack the player only from close range. Once the jump troopers get close enough to the player, they need a short time to activate the modified jump pack so they can hover in the air before they start shooting. In the air, they remain stationary.
At higher Survival and Battle difficulties, more Jump Troopers spawn at the same time and the heavy RT-97C blaster deals more damage. Once they are hovering, Jump Troopers can quickly kill the player due to the higher chance of shooting the head.
