On July 11, 1899, at 10 a.m., the Union Pacific Express departed from Folsom, New Mexico with 47 passengers. After a few minutes, gunshots and hurried footsteps are heard on the roof. Heavily armed robbers have come to rob the honest citizens . Will they manage to steal the suitcase with the payroll of the Nice Valley Coal Company; And will they do so without being noticed by Sheriff Samuel Ford?
The game consists of five rounds and each round has two phases:
Phase 1: Draw. Each player plays 2-5 action cards into a common pile, with the cards being face up or face down depending on the type of the round. Instead of playing a card, a player may draw three cards from their deck.
Phase 2: Stealin’ . The action cards are executed in the order they were played. Be careful though because even the best plans may not pay off due to mistakes and omissions!
The game takes place on a three-dimensional train in which the robbers can move from one car to another, run on the roof, hit other robbers, shoot them, rob the passengers or knock the sheriff off his seat. The train has as many cars as there are players and each car is equipped with valuable gems, bags of loot or suitcases at the start of the game.
