Evil lurks in the towers and dungeons in Dungeons & Dragons : Castle of Ravenloft , and only heroes of exceptional bravery can survive the horror that reigns within it. Designed for 1-5 players, this board game features multiple scenarios, challenging quests and cooperative play.
How to play the game in brief :
Each player chooses a hero: a ranger, rogue, fighter, cleric or wizard. On their turn, each player can further explore the dungeon (by flipping new tiles), move through already explored parts of the dungeon and fight monsters. When a new dungeon tile is revealed, there is usually some kind of encounter and new monsters are added to fight. Killed monsters reward the players with treasure and experience points, allowing them to level up and increase their abilities during the game. Players must cooperate to stay alive, kill the monsters and achieve their mission objective. Each scenario has a different objective – from recovering a relic to the slaying of a vampire lord.
