The Archipelago recounts the remarkable Age of Discoveries, an era of intense exploration and colonization of the world by European explorers.
Each player embodies an explorer and his team who have been sent by a European nation in order to discover, colonize and exploit the archipelagos. These missions must be carried out in a diplomatic manner, responding both to the needs of the local population and to the demands of the continent. So you must respect the archipelago and its indigenous people, always though under the risk of seeing the natives revolt. The balance of the archipelago will depend on each person's willingness to turn these islands into happy and productive colonies or, conversely, to exploit their resources and the locals in a provocative way, ultimately ending in chaos and revolution.
To make things more difficult, there may be a separatist or a pacifist hiding among you. Each of them will try to tip the scales toward war or peace . Are you ready to take on your role in the discovery of the Archipelago ?
