You are the founder of a new medieval village , the years that followed after a terrible plague. The loss of so many people caused great problems for the survivors. Many of the people on whom the villagers depended for basic goods such as food, shelter and clothing disappeared. Craftsmen find themselves without suppliers of raw materials, merchants have lost their customers and many have lost their farms and workshops.
The roads are full of refugees seeking a new beginning. They come to you, hoping to settle on your lands and thus restart their lives. Your grain farm is the ideal starting point for a village because it provides food to many people in a reliable way. You must choose wisely the people you will allow to settle with you because your food and resources are limited.
The people in the streets have valuable and unique skills but are all, in turn, dependent on other people. Raw materials, tools and services must be provided by other people on the road. If you manage to find people who can work together in order to benefit from it all, increasing your food surplus and your ability to build new houses, your village will prosper.
The game also comes with solo mode where an isolated village tries to thrive despite the fearsome countess and her machinations.
