Atelier: The Painter’s Studio
Take on the role of an artist running an atelier, or art studio, during the 19th century. Roll dice, manage your assistants, collect the necessary paints and complete famous works of art. Will you become a prolific artist who completes many works for your patrons or become known for only a few masterpieces that will stand the test of time?
The game is played in rounds. During each round, players take turns using one or more of their dice to perform tasks. Rounds continue clockwise around the table until all players have used all four of their dice. Once the round ends, all players retrieve their dice, pass the starting player token clockwise and start the next round. Players use their dice to recruit apprentices, paint colors and finally complete paintings. Completed paintings contribute to their workshop's reputation, which in turn unlocks additional actions that can be taken.
When any player completes their third painting with the masterpiece symbol, the game enters the final round. Then, players total the victory points from their paintings, their patrons and the 'First Master' token to determine the winner.
