In Gearworks You embody repairers who work in a workshop. You try to repair the mysterious mechanism of a machine. You place the cards ”Gears” into the machine, being sure that the placement rules are observed. At the end of a round, players who control at least one row or column in the machine will take pieces corresponding to that row or column.
If you take the right pieces, you will be able to build mechanisms following the plans that exist here and there in the workshop. At the end of the game, you score points for mechanisms you have built, for pieces you have not used as well as for for Energy tokens.
