A few words about the album:
Bastards is the eleventh studio album by the British rock band Motörhead. It was released on 29 November 1993 through ZYX Music, the band's only release on that label. It is the band's first studio album to feature drummer Mikkey Dee, who had also appeared as a guest drummer on a previous album.

Recording
It is one of the two studio albums with the short-lived lineup Lemmy, Würzel, Zööm and Mikkey Dee, as on the previous album Dee was “special guest” drummer and had not officially joined the band. It was also the first of Motörhead's four albums on which production was done by the former producer of Child’ƨ Play, Howard Benson, and Motörhead's first studio album that did not contain a title track. After the unsuccessful commercial exploitation of the success of 1916 with the subsequent March ör Die of 1992, the band returned to its roots: to be loud and fast. The lyrical themes range from social criticism (“On Your Feet or on Your Knees”), to war (“Death or Glory” and “I am the Sword”), to child abuse (“Don’t Let Daddy Kiss Me”) and to utter chaos (“Burner”).
