In the Coast Watchers Board Game players take on the role of Allied intelligence teams (Allied intelligence) or Japanese security forces, in an intense contest of strategy, covert missions and hidden movements.<\/p>\n<p>The game uses stand-up blocks and facedown counters, creating a hidden information mechanic (hidden information mechanic) that enhances the element of tension and strategic thinking. The Allied coastwatchers try to locate and report Japanese military movements, while the Japanese seek to neutralize the intelligence network and complete covert military missions.<\/p>\n<p>The Coast Watchers GMT includes 15 standalone scenarios (Situations) and 4 campaign modes covering from the Japanese advance of 1942 to the neutralization of the base at Rabaul in 1943. It also features a full solitaire system, making it ideal for solo play.<\/p>\n<p>The Mission Cards, Asset Cards and operational scenarios offer high replayability and deep strategy.
