RA and Write by legendary designer Reiner Knizia is an innovative flip-and-write board game based on the classic RA board game. Published by 25th Century Games with striking artwork by Ian O\u2019Toole, it delivers an authentic Egyptian experience in a compact form.<\/p>\n

In the RA and Write game, 2-5 players aged 12+ take on the roles of ancient Egyptian kings and develop their civilization over three rounds representing the Kingdoms of Egypt: Old Kingdom, Middle Kingdom and New Kingdom. Each round lasts just 20 minutes, making it the perfect family game.<\/p>\n

The gameplay features a card flipping mechanism where players choose cards and fill in their scoresheets to advance different aspects of their civilization. The RA cards act as a timer \u2013 when three RA cards are revealed, the round ends and scoring takes place.<\/p>\n

This standalone flip write game retains the tension and strategy of the original RA but is more accessible and faster. It includes set collection, combo bonuses, and the famous \u201cleader chooses\u201d mechanism. Players collect monuments, pharaohs, civilizations, and floods for points.<\/p>\n
